First time here. Amazing customer service friendly staff. Had their spicy chicken burger absolute banger. If you like spicy food must visit. Their chef special spicy sauce is no joke.
Was pleased and even a bit impressed! The 'special' was good value for money and really tasty! Notes: -burgers had THICK patties (not my preference, but it seems the preference of most) -burgers had chili on them (we didn't ask for it, must be on every one, not my preference either but was good!) -burgers didn't have lettuce or tomatoes or mayonnaise -the pickles on burger were REALLY good -the buns were really good The atmosphere is very nice! I'd definitely go back! 5/5!
Love this restaurant! They make great Fat Boy burgers. They are messy and not easy to eat while driving, but its just how i like them. The people working there are nice. The food is made to order so its always hot when you get it. They make the fries themselves, and they are very tasty
The special of the week was 2 hot dogs and and order of fries. I could have done 2 of the 3 but not both. So not to let a dog go to waste, I had the 2 dogs and about half the fries. I had also ordered a side of chili, that was in my mind true chili. No beans, just meat, sauce and spiced and super thick, so it was great for dipping. I also had a nice chocolate shake, good, cold and thick! Owner George has had several restaurants that I have dined at and I'm very happy Zax is still around!! The burgers here are top-notch. Juicy, flavorful, and loaded with fresh toppings. Love their gravy on a Fatboy. Their poutine is the perfect side, with rich gravy and melty cheese that hits the spot. Great food, great vibe—this place never disappoints
Excellent fresh food served up piping hot. Nice clean establishment and friendly staff. Great pricing on our order of large fries and cheese burgers. We will be back!
Food is absolutely fantastic, I've never seen anybody working here be upset or mad. Great little hole in the wall restaurant.
Had the Triple Fat Boy Burger and it was excellent! Super filling, and the chili was tasty. Only thing I’d change is maybe using real cheese over processed cheese, but even the processed cheese wasn’t bad at all. The restaurant is a bit dated but and could use a bit of an updated look, but it wasn’t dirty or anything so that’s just slight nitpicking. I’d definitely come back, and next time try the fries.
